LulzBot Mini is a great 3D printer. It offers a good quality output with high resolution and most customers love their experience with this 3D printing device. However, just like the other 3D printers, this device is not perfect and also comes with its own limitations. Find some of the customer reviews below.
“Very nicely built, and works good,” James W. Ree wrote about his LulzBot Mini experience.
“I just recived this printer today, and I would like to comment on the amazing product packing and presentation. As soon as I opened the box and saw the packing slip I knew this printer was worth the money. After setting it up and a few prints I am still impressed. The manual is easy to follow and very through. The quick reference of filament temps is handy and the lulzbot cura shred is really neat. Great printer so far,” Albert A. Mcafee added.
“As my first 3D printer, the Lulzbot Mini has overall been a very positive experience. I’m able to print at a quality that’s clearly superior to other filament printers I’ve seen friends use.
But…This is absolutely the most annoyingly loud printer I’ve ever heard, and I’m including those old dot-matrix paper printers from the 1980’s. As it prints it sounds like pigs mating as the stepper motors move the bed and nozzle around. Forget about having it in the same room that you want to work in. You won’t be able to concentrate on anything else while a print is running,” Keith Goreham wrote about his Lulzbot Mini experience. He suggests that the next version concentrates on making the device quieter.
Rating: 4.5 / 5
LulzBot Mini is a great Desktop 3D printer for its price. It has a strong built, easy to use features, fast printing speed, and great resolution. In addition, it is portable, open source and is built to last. However, it also comes with its own drawbacks. LulzBot Mini is noisy and sometimes need cleaning when printing. In addition, it has limited connectivity and requires you to connect it to a computer while printing.
It is normal for 3D printers to have its own advantages and disadvantages. If noise and limited connectivity do not bother you, then for sure, you will enjoy LulzBot Mini. We suggest this 3D printer to those who are looking for a powerful 3D printer below $2,000.
