What is BQ Witbox 2?

BQ Witbox 2 is a ready-to-use 3D printer that fits for domestic, professional and educational uses. This device is for anyone who wants to own a 3D printer to create a prototype or produce a fashion collection. If you are an engineering student, a designer or a businessman who wish to take more control with your operation, a 3D printer, particularly, BQ Witbox 2 is for you.

BQ Witbox 2 Specs & Features

The BQ Witbox 2 3D printer is equipped with several features that enable it to achieve flawless results. Check out the best features of BQ Witbox 2 below.

New Inductive Sensor – the sensor is made of an electric coil that generates a magnetic field and it measures the distance with utmost precision. When the bed comes close to the field, the sensor will detect it. A small red LED will notify you if it is already in the correct position.

New Extruder – the extruder is a critical component in a 3D printer because it pushes the filament through the hot-end causing it to melt. BQ Witbox 2 comes with a new extruder incorporating a Double Drive Gear transaction for a stronger grip of the filament. Due to its flexible extruder, BQ Witbox 2 can accommodate a variety of filaments including PLA, bronze, wood, copper and even flexible materials like FilaFlex.

New Circuit board – BQ manufactured BQ Zum CNC, a new circuit board that is specially designed for Witbox 2. Its new and more advanced circuit board allows a more fluid motor movement and brings better heat dissipation.

New Auto-Levelling System – To help you for a smoother operation, BQ Witbox 2’s inductive sensor detects any inclination and automatically adjusts the movement of the motors to produce a perfect result despite printing on a sloped surface.

To help you assess BQ Witbox 2, we understand that it will be great to include customer reviews. Find some of the reviews below about the device’s performance.

“The BQ Witbox 2 is an excellent desktop 3D printer with a great user experience and capable of producing very high-quality 3D prints. This 3D printer offers an overall print experience and reliability close to an industrial-grade product (except for the plastic part that holds the SD card reader and the LCD screen). However, the BQ Witbox 2 is a bit noisy and does not come with its dedicated software. We strongly recommend the use of BuildTak, and without it, we must admit the experience is likely to have been more painful,” Aniwaa wrote in its product review.

Rating: 4.1 / 5

Conclusion:

BQ Witbox 2 is a great 3D printer overall with its new extruder, new inductor sensor, new auto-levelling system, new electronics board and new intuitive graphic. However, it can only accommodate PLA and tends to be noisy during the operation. But if you want a high-resolution output, you will never be disappointed with BQ Witbox 2.
